I am filling an application for my wife to going me in the UK under 'join family living permanently in the UK' scheme. My wife currently lives with her family overseas.
There is a section for the 'Sponsor details' which I initially thought would be me, the husband. However, I couldn't find any indication of spouse/husband under the supplied list of relationships to choose from (see attached image).

- Why can't I be her sponsor?
- If I choose one of her family members (father/brother) as the sponsor, will I need to provide documentation to prove such sponsorship?
