Is there fast-track entry clearance? (in-country applicant)

Post by Novice » Thu Sep 23, 2004 10:04 pm

Hi All,

So, I got an email from Home Office today telling me that my application in the `Urgent folder` (fax from employer saying that he needs to hire me urgently did the trick). So far as I understood through reading other posts , decision taking now should take 1 month max. However, I don't think I ever read about fast-track entry clearance. And home office website says Cannock team works on applications received on 29th of July, which is around two months. Just trying to figure out when I'll be able to get to the new job - will I really have to wait another 2 months for entry clearance? (in-country applicant). If there are any people who got their HSMP through fast-track, being in-country applicants - please let me know how long it took you to get EC.

With many thanks,

Novice
