No Entry Stamp

Post by neda » Sat Sep 12, 2015 10:56 pm

Hi everyone,
I need your help please. My mom got family visitor visa last March and she came to the UK for first time on 31.03.2015 and she left the country on 09.07.2015. She decided to come for another visit on 18.08.2015, as she holds 6 months Family visitor visa with multiple entry.
She came with Qatar airways, terminal 4 Heathrow. I found out two days after she arrived that she passed the security check in the airport and they checked her visa but officer didn’t put entry stamp in her passport. I contacted immigration office in terminal 4 and in the first place they told me that they will do some checking and when they become sure which she was in flight they will give me some sort of letter, which shows her entry. They asked me to take all evidence that shows she was in flight. She has her boarding card, ticket and suitcase tags. So we went to air port and explain everything and they took all document and they said that they made note in their system regarding what happen but they cannot stamp her passport or give us any letter or reference. They just said we make note in our system and it will fine.
I am really worried what will be happen when next time she applied for visa as there is not entry stamp on her passport for this trip. As you know when you are feeling the visa application it would ask you for all your history travelling and I don’t know if this issue make any difficulty.
I am really worried and do not want that matter make any difficulty for her next visit to the UK.
Would you please let me know what is your suggestion in this case, is there anything that I can do to avoid of any difficulty result of this matter or anywhere that I might report it to make is official.
Thank you in advance for your help.

She should be logged in the UK border control system even without a stamp.

You could also request a SAR & see what shows up in the record:

Thank you Noajthan for your replay.
So what understand is no matter which there is it stamp in her passport as there is a record on their system.
And I can request SAR to support her next visa application. Am I right?
Honestly I am start doubting about their system and whether the person which check my mum stuff scan her passport or not. As I explained we went to immigration office in terminal 4 and I think if they didn’t have her in their system they won’t let us just walk away, what do you think?
My mum is the only person that I have and I cannot think that this issue stop her of coming here to visit me.
Please suggest me if you have any other advice.
I really appreciate it
