Discretionary leave to remain after 6 years

Post by cupcake30 » Mon Oct 12, 2015 1:58 pm

Hi I've been a silent reader and I think this forum is amazing. I've been confused and don't know if I should apply for Indefinate leave to remain. I was first granted discretionary leave to remain on the 12th October 2009 I've got 4 kids who are British. I made a in time application for extension on the 5th of October 2012, my extension took 9 months to decide, I receive visa on the 18th July 2013. I would kindly like to ask does the 9 months count towards my indefinate and today makes 6 years since im on discretionary leave is it ok to apply for indefinate now or I should wait till next year June 2016 when the card expire.
