EEA PR form Section 9

Hello all. I was quite surprised to hear that before applying for British citizenship we all now need to first obtain a permenent residency card or permenent residency certificate. I won't say anymore on that as it will just anger me more.
So anyway my question relates to the ridiculously long form for obtaining permenent residency. As an eea citizen on section 9 do I just complete the section in relation to my employment history if I want to use the last five years as proof that I am now a 'qualified citizen'. I ask this because the first part of section 9 asks to list my actions since I first entered the uk- which for me was 24 years ago and I was a student at school and university etc. Will I need to complete the other boxes that ask for these details as well?? As in my education history? Or just stick to providing details about my employment history? Hope this makes sense

Me in your case, I would put the last 6 years, if you were exercising your treaty rights for all of the six years, that should be enough, I think.

Thanks a lot for your response. Just one query- why six years? I thought I acquire permanent residency status after exercising treaty rights for five years. Is five years not enough then?

Yes 5 years is what the law says, would be enough, but is my way to tell them, shush, and give me what I am asking for lol

I have exactly the same question! Would you be able to tell me if you managed to find out what is the correct thing to write down? (5 years or 24 years in your case??) Have you received any advice directly from Home Office or have you already sent your form in and was 5 year history enough for them???
