Immigration Surcharge Refund

Hello ,

Checked our bank statement today and saw a £200 refund out of £1000 we paid for two applicants with regards to immigration health surcharge.

Does anyone know what does it means please?

How long was the visa/extension that you applied for?

If for 2 years, surcharge payable is £800.

we paid £1000 for DL on Article 8 and £200 was refunded. I understand they are 30 months Visa. Please advise.
