Tier 4 General Student visa Refusal

Post by magicMike13 » Fri Jan 01, 2016 4:32 pm

Hi , I`m a final year student and have been in the UK since 2010 . I have only got 5 months to complete my degree. I applied for a visa extension end of Oct but I got arrested at my workplace by Immigration enforcement due to working more than the permitted hours. By the time of arrest my visa was processing and later they refused my leave to remain in the UK with a year ban . The reason they had mentioned for my refusal was that I worked more than 20 hours during term time , and providing a false statement for the question on my visa application form " Have you ever knowingly used deception when seeking leave to enter or remain , entered the United Kingdom illegally or worked in the United Kingdom without immigration permission to do so " .

As the next step I applied for an Admin Review in December and waiting for a decision at the moment . I just want to finish my degree as I`m in the final stage of it and only got 5 more months left. I would like to know whether the Admin Review team might consider changing their decision and granting me to stay and finish my degree as I have clearly stated that in my Admin review application also stating that I`m a progressed student with good academic performance .
I would also like to know how long would it take for them to provide me with a decision on my admin review and the next steps if my Admin review get unsuccessful .

Kind Regards .

Unless the officials have made some sort of procedural or factual errors & so arrested you in error for illegal working then it's hard to see how you can recover from this.

This may help inform you of next steps & options:

Suggest you contact & seek advice & support from your international student support office (at the university/college) asap.
