Settlement visa - acct letter - pls advice correct or not

Post by suhas » Tue Feb 16, 2016 1:18 pm

Hi,

I am applying for settlement visa for my spouse
from India, to meet the financial requirement. I am submiting my previous year company accounts ct600 , payslips, div vouchers for that period and acct letter mentioning details as specified below, pls advice if this is sufficient.

As per the company accounts for Xxxxx Limited, for the period from 1st of September 2014 to 31st August 2015, Mr XXXXXXX received total gross earnings of £55,054.96. This consisted of salary & dividends. He earned a gross salary of £10,221.63 on which he paid £244.63 in National Insurance contributions for a total net salary of £9,977.00. Mr XXXXXXX also received £44,833.33 as gross dividends, with a tax credit of £4,483.33 resulting in a net dividend payment of £40,350.00.

Is the above wording fine or need any changes?

My concern is that it mentions gross earning, and salary is only 10k and rest are dividend. Is this fine.

Thanks
Suhas

Well wording is less important than numerical figures. If the above details are true and corroborate with ur statements and financial documents then it seems ok. Do not forget UKBA contact ur company in most cases so if they want to clear something they will ask ur company. They even ask for further documents if they need any.

Thanks

But check for dividends information in the above mentioned document may be you can miss out something. So read it carefully and if u get confused then seek some immigration advice from the experts.

Thanks
