Employer Letter for Tier 2 ICT ILR Application

Post by harshitguptaiitr » Fri Sep 02, 2016 10:52 am

I have received the following letter from the employer. Does this looks okay or should I request some change?
This is to confirm that [APPLICANT] commenced employment with [EMPLOYER] on [START_DATE] and transferred to [EMPLOYER] on [TRANSFER_DATE].

[APPLICANT] has been in continuous employment with the company and that his employment is ongoing. He is currently employed as a [JOB-TITLE]. This position is full time and permanent. He is still required for the employment for the foreseeable future and that the salary payable will continue for the foreseeable future.

His current base salary is [ANNUAL_SALARY] per annum, based on [XX] hours per week. This is above the minimum appropriate rate specified as per standard occupational classification (SOC)

Code: Select all

for [JOB-TITLE] as stated in the code of practice for skilled workers (version 04/15).

We certify that the payslips for the period [YEAR DURATION] and P60 for the period [YEAR DURATION] are original copies.

He currently has a paid leave entitlement of [DAYS] days per annum.

His role requires him to travel on business on behalf of the company, and this travel is vital to the performance of his duties. He has had the following absences from UK over the last [FIVE] years:

His current residential address in the UK is [ADDRESS OF APPLICANT].

In accordance with our normal practice, the above information is given in the strictest of confidence and without any liability to the company.

If you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact me on the above telephone number.
I recently got ILR through tier 2
1) My observation is that letter is too long. Please split the SOC letter confirming salary and leave into 2.
2) There is must be a line stating ' there are no unpaid' absences.
3) 'This is to confirm that [APPLICANT] commenced employment with [EMPLOYER] on [START_DATE] and transferred to [EMPLOYER] on [TRANSFER_DATE]'

This is not very clear. The employer who led to your last Tier 2 must give this letter. The fact that you are now talking about 2 employers might confuse the case worker.
