Old Passport lost, applying for naturalisation with new pass

I have an appointment in NCS to apply for naturalisation on Tuesday.
My old passport was lost, so I only have new passport (which was issued 2 years ago) with ILR stamp.

I am taking my new passport and photocopy of old passport (as it was lost) for evidence of lawful residence for past 5 years (Requirement ‘Section 3’ in application form)

I am bit worried whether they can create a problem regarding photocopy of old passport, as they required original documents for evidence.

I wondered if anyone has gone through same situation like me, while applying for naturalisation.

I would greatly appreciate any suggestion from experienced users of this forum.

I came on Work permit 6 years ago, but I can't get letters from all old employers (worked for 4-5 different employers)..

Get what you can. Most importantly, you need to show that you were in-country exactly five years from the date of application. That is very important.

I am unable to contact my first employer in UK, so can't show the existence of 5 years before the date I apply for naturalisation.
Will NCS accept photocopy of old passport? If not, what should I do, Please help.

Can't you phone your NCS branch and ask them on the phone?

Have you thought about what other evidence you can supply? Be resourceful ...
