Tier1 Rejected based on Previous earnings -uplift

Post by rahsmp » Wed Jun 04, 2008 9:40 am

Hi All,

One of my friend applied from UK (on work Permit in UK from past one year) based on Indian Salary he was getting .

The apllication got rejected beacuse they can not apply the uplift factor as he is working in UK.

Thats true. You cannot uplift your INR salalry living in the UK. This is mentioned in the guidance notes.

If you search this forum, you would find many such cases.

Useless HO - ya mostly but why blame them in this particular case. The applicant should have checked before applying.

yes push. i mean generally they r useless. wht they do is of u ask them a question, they will just read from policy guidance. and if ur question is not in the PG, they will say"IT SHOULD BE OK"

yes Vipul , this statement is true in my friends case.

I checked with Ana whether he asked any advise from HO before applying , he said he called HO thirce to confirm is that ok? , He said he gave all his details that he is here from last two years and he will appply from his indian salary and whether he will be able to uplift the salary?

They gave him answer that yes he can do it.Hence , he applied.
