Post by chandu2004 » Sat Jul 19, 2008 3:57 pm

Hi Guys,

We have recently moved to UK 3 months back. I am on a HSMP visa. I am working on a good salary.I am planning to call my MOM in law for the birth of our second child.

I am planning to send

1) My Employment agreement
2) Rental Agreement
3) Passport Copy

How can I get this documents attested ot signed by solicitors or Justice of Peace? Will I need to pay for getting truly certified by Justice of Peace or solicitors or Can I get them to sign it for free? Please help me with this

Am I missing any documentation?

Your guys help is very much appreciated.

Thanks

1. A letter from sponsor stating his relationship with the applicant(s) and that the sponsor is ready to accommodate the applicant(s) in his residence/property. It will help if this letter includes the following information:-
a) Size of property (e.g.- 2 bedroom house, 3 bedroom flat, studio etc.).
b) Number of people currently living there.
c) If possible, confirmation of a dedicated room for the applicant(s). Mandatory when couples are to be accommodated.
d) whether property is rented or owned.
e) If you intend to provide financial assistance to the applicant (maintenance), then you can state so in the letter.

2. Photocopy of sponsor's proof of income / salary slips and bank statements showing income credit - covering last 4-6 months.

3a. Photocopy of council tax bill for current year (gives the ECO an idea of size of property).
and / or
3b. Photocopy of utility bills - covering last 4-6 months.

4. If the property is rented, it is always better to include a copy of the tenancy agreement and permission from landlord allowing the sponsor to accommodate extra persons.

5. Copy of personal details and *current* visa pages of sponsor's passport.

You do not need to get any of the documents attested. Photocopies are sufficient.

Hope this helps.

regards
