Missing decision letter

Post by recco » Tue Oct 08, 2019 4:35 pm

Hi

I recently successfully applied for ILR (SET LR) and have received my BRP. However, I have not received the physical decision letter (I do have an email saying my application for leave had been granted). I'm guessing the letter just got lost in the mail, or was mis-delivered. I was just wondering if the decision letter has any pertinent information that I need to know, e.g. what to do with my old BRP. There seems to be conflicting information on the board regarding whether to return the old BRP and what address to use.

Thanks!

You can wait a couple of days. Sometimes, BRP comes before the decision letter.
Old BRP has to be cut in two pieces and returned.

I received my BRP two weeks ago, so if it was going to arrive, it should have by now.

Thanks for the address.

Does the letter usually contain any other information?

Not really. As long as you have the new BRP dont worry about the hard copy of the decision letter. You already have received that in the email anyways as you said.
