Universal credit and ILR of spouse

Post by Hyna » Sun Nov 03, 2019 3:29 pm

Dear Forum members and Moderators,
I was jobless for a month so I started doing delivery to earn so money but my income was not enough to pay mortgage and run the house so I applied for universal credit which I got after month I have got a temp job which I m still doing from September. now my salary is more than the threshold requires for spouse visa which is 18k. I Still get UC Thou it’s not much. My question is if I being a british citizen working full time and still have access to UC would effect my wife future ILR application which is due in july ?? Also on UC basis we claim early child education funding ( 2 years funding) which also started in sep and goes to his nursery. How to make sure, this claim doesn't effect my wife's visa. I will be really thankful if some one respond to my query.

You must meet the financial requirement within a certain category (or a combination of such categories) as per rules. It is not about simply having the min annual income. Read: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... -ext_1.pdf
