I applied for ILR in early March as a Tier 2 Minister of Religion along with my wife and children as dependents. I'm waiting to submit biodata, now it looks like mid June it might happen.
As there is no longer a set O guidance that corresponds with documents to upload, I'm bewildered searching through the Immigration Rules concerning documents. The required checklist for documents to upload seemed very basic. While the 'Optional' list seems confusing. Seems like UKVI is trying to keep it simple/ streamline the process perhaps but I want to cover my basis with so much on the line.
Is the list for the applicant and dependents the same? For example if 2.5 years of bank statements are uploaded for evidence of cohabitation for my wife (dependent), should 5 years proof of the same also be uploaded as evidence of continuous residence for me as the main applicant? Should I supply tax documents for myself? Should my wife? If so, how much - 5 years worth? The breadth of documents (months/years), category placement and pertinance are confusing. What 'other/optional' documents would you supply for kids if any? A definitive and solid list would be much easier to work off of than 'Optional'. Thanks for any help!
