LTR= 5 Year dates

Post by janine123 » Sun Jun 14, 2020 10:09 pm

Hi,

We are applying for ILR under the Tier 2 visa and are unsure of the dates for when we can actually apply and submit to HMRC.

Main applicant visa dates:
18 July 2015 - 25 July 2021
Applicant only entered the UK on 07 August 2015

Dependent:
14 August 2015 - 25 July 2021
Dependent only entered the UK on 05 October 2015

If we both apply together what do we use?

Thanks for the help :)

Why HMRC ?? You mean UKVI I assume.
It is 28 days prior to completing the qualifying period of 5 years, counting from visa issue date (for both of you). If you want to apply together, apply on 17th July which is the date both of you will be eligible for ILR

Yes sorry, I meant UKVI.

Thanks for the response. We can only do our Life in the UK test beginning of August so we will apply right after that then.
