SET (LR) application with previous passport lost

Hi Team,

I entered UK in Mar2011 on Tier2 -ICT dependant and staying continuously in UK, have visa till Nov 2021. Last 2019 Dec my Old passport expired and I got it renewed in India. Now my ILR is due in Feb 2021, I dont have all evidences of travel, can collate some. How do I prove my absence, I know the travel dates which I had noted earlier, but I don't have the copy of it. I did lodge a complaint with police and I got a reference number. Please help me on this.. Should I just write the cover letter, when I fill the form it just asks do you have your old passport no option to say no

Did you loose the passport or you returned it to the issuing authority when you got it renewed in India?
Since you know your travel dates then fill up the form and in cover letter explain what happened to your passport. Note that you are only corroborating the records HO holds, as they do have your records of entry and exits to and from UK.
You may also want to make a SAR to ensure that the dates you noted corresponds with HO's records.

sorry Zimba, This is my first request. I was not able to raise a new request, just replied on this case. I don't have all evidences for my travel and old passport is lost. What do I select while filling form. Should I opt saying "Can provide all previous passports which I dont have". Your help and guidance is appreciated, any template for the Covering letter please.

Hi Amazonian,

I have lost it, Complained to Police in May or June. As it was old passport was trying to search in Lockdown. I do remember few dates exactly when I travelled, few I may miss a day here and there. SAR I was checking the other day, they say we get it for last 5 years record is that true.

Just one more question, I went to India for my second kid delivery to India, during pregnancy travelled on 10th Nov2017 and returned back on 21st March 2018, again went back to India on 16th April and returned with kid on 19th Sep 2018. I made sure it wasnt more than 180 days at a time. Is this fine for applying ILR in LR route?

There are just two requirements:
1) Max 540 days of total absence in the last 10 years.
2) No continuous absences of more than 180 days in the last 10 years

I'll apply for my ILR next month now, I got the SAR report aswell. But not able to see all the In and Out's.
For my Kids I need to wait till I get my ILR, as we have Tier2 ICT dependent visa till Nov 2021. If my Spouse quits the company and takes any opportunities in UK, as kids are already in UK do we need to change the kids Visa immediately? as the company may cancel the existing visa.

The company cannot cancel any visa. They can only report the changes to UKVI. It is up to UKVI to curtail any leave. This can take months even if it happens
