Employer reference letter for ILR

Hi.

Someone can help to count continuous 5yrs for applying ILR as per the below information :

My entry clearance and BRP date was on : 03/ May / 2016

My entry date to UK was on : 01 / Jun / 2016

Which date I should calculate for applying ILR?

Hi,

I shall apply for ILR soon. I understand I need a letter from my employer to comfirm that they need my service in the future and will be paid appropriate salary.

I question is :
Who should give this letter - HR or head of the department?
Can I get this letter from my head of the department? as I prefer to get it from head of the department, is it OK?

Appreciate if someone can assist me for this query.

Does not it matter which Dept it will be from as long as it’s from the employer
