Earliest When Can My Wife Apply for ILR

Post by tangocharlieroger » Tue Jan 25, 2022 3:27 pm

My wife got her first spouse visa as follows:

Entry Clearance had this validity.
Start Date: 06/03/2017
End Date: 05/04/2017

Date She First stepped in the UK: 18/03/2017

First BRP Start Date: 27/02/2017
First BRP Expiry Date: 06/12/2019

Can anyone please suggest, when earliest she can apply her ILR (online). And if that day falls on weekend, does it matter?(or shall we wait next working day) as we will be applying online.

Many Thanks

It will be 18/03/2022 minus 28 days. Why would it matter if it is a weekend ??

Uploading Documents Size (Any Limitations) After Submission of ILR Application

Post by tangocharlieroger » Sat Jan 29, 2022 2:21 pm

Hi,

I am almost fully prepared to submit my wife's ILR application around 18th Feb.
Scanned almost all documents in PDF (Proof of living together, and various other documents).
My assumption is: Once i submit the application on 18th Feb (and paying the fees etc), then i shall be taken to next step to upload these documents? (please correct me if i am wrong).

Question is: Do we have any limitations on PDFs (in terms of number of documents & size of each document).
Specially if there is any size limitation for each document, please let me know so that i can re-scan the document in acceptable size limit, as still we have 3 weeks to go.

Please advise.

SET(M) Application Submitted - Fingerprint Appointment Query

Post by tangocharlieroger » Mon Feb 21, 2022 10:30 am

Hi Guyz,

Need some important advise/clarification regarding my wife's recently submitted case for ILR on Set(M).
After we submitted the case online (Paid fees), we were able to browse onto VKVCAS.co.uk website, uploaded all the PDF documents from laptop and even submitted all documents (means we can't remove those documents now). We did this all, over the weekend.

Now we are trying to find some appointment for fingerprints, but in all over the UK we can't find any appointment. I read from UKVCAS website FAQs that they release appointments at 9am everyday (for free appointments) and at 12midnight (Paid ones), but again we couldn't find anything even until 20th of March. (even at service centers 200 miles away).

Can anyone guide with their experience (or knowledge), how to tackle this situation? We tried calling UKVCAS and were on hold for 40 min with no connection to any operator.

Any guidance will be appreciated, as we want to complete all formalities related to our application ASAP.
