Child VISA

Post by oeadeleke88 » Tue Feb 14, 2023 2:09 pm

I am about applying for a partner visa for my wife but considering if my son qualifies for ILR. I got my ILR 5 months after my son was born outside of the UK. Does he qualify for ILR too?

No he does not. He will follow the same immigration path as your wife.

Nope child would follow the same immigration path as your spouse.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!

Children born abroad follow the same immigration pathway and qualify for ILR at the same time as the less-privileged/second parent.
