Points for Earning

All,
I hve a friend of mine wanting to apply for TIER1 .

His gross annual salary is 400K ( 4 Lakhs) INR

Just wanted to know if he qualifies for the point for earning. Not sure how the calculation is done.

Example: If the exchange rate is 73 INR = 1GBP

400,000 X 5.3 = 2120000 / 73 =29041 GBP . I think he qualifies for the earning criteria. Please corect me If Im wrong.

Hi Iman,

If you are talking about 'qualifying' only on the previous earnings basis,YES - your friend can claim the corresponding points. You may need to check all other attributes as well to fully qualify the Tier1.

On an approximate exchange rate basis, your friend can claim points for 29KGBP.
