Citizenship, 4 yrs 11mo HSMP, 1yr ILR

Hi, I've seen conficting infomation on this question. We are allowed to apply for ILR one month early and we did, in person Croyden.

Are we now eligible for Citizenship 5yrs and 11 months as long as we have been here under ILR for a full year? Guidance notes suggest yes, but notes on workpermit.com say 6 years. However, video on WP.com stresses 5 years and last year ILR.

Anyone know for sure? I'd like to apply sooner as citizenship is scheduled for a change this year.

Yes. you can apply for naturalisation exactly a year after obtaining ILR for as long as you have been in the country for at least 5years counting backwards from the date of your naturalisation application

Yes, there is a non-negotiable, "applicant physically in the country exactly five years ago" test.
