I have been wondering if i will have to fill up a separate dependent application form for my little girl (18 months old) when sending out my tier 2 general (transitional arrangement) application form. Currently, she has her name and photo included in her mother's travel document (passport)... otherwise known as endorsement.

I would have thought that her mother's dependent's application form will cover her; but I am really not very confident about the new rules and would welcome any assistance/clearification from anyone please.

2) Having gone through the dependents applciation form,...I can infer that.....
If the dependent is applying at the same time as the main applicant under the Tier 2 General transitional arrangement, proofs of maintaince funds for the dependents are not required.

Please is this correct?

I really would like to have your views as I am preparing to apply for my extension by early next week.

Thanks

Jay

Thanks for the reply. Are you saying i should obtain a passport for my daughter and the include a separate application form for her; making it three in total (myself, wife and daughter).

My daughter is only 18months old and i just wonder if getting a passport at this stage is the best.

Please share more information on this issue if you can.

Cheers

I don't think there's any difference if you apply earlier or later. Expect perhaps that you might be in a better financial position later. Smile
