IGS to Student Visa to PSW

Hi all,

I have a bit of a situation I'm finding myself in... I have been on IGS since July last year and was hoping to switch to PSW by july this year as my leave under IGS expires 11th July 09. Unfortunately, I didn't realize the requirements for maintenance funds was £800 for everyday of the 3 month period prior to application until it was too late, so I'm kind of ineligible based on that because it's less than 3 months already. I don't believe it's a good idea to even bother trying, but I'm thinking of enrolling in a professional course that makes me eligible for a student Visa in July but I'm having to resign from my full time job come July because of this issue. I've been reading the immigration rules extensively for the past week and from what I gathered, there's nothing stoping me from switching from IGS to Student visa tand then to PSW when I meet the criteria for maintenance funds. I might be wrong, so any advice would be much appreciated!

I must say it is not extensive reading that will help u get to ur solutions but careful reading.

Anyways this is how it goes.

IGS to Student >>>>>>>>>Allowed no problem
IGS to PSW>>>>>>>>>>>Allowed no problem
IGS to Student to PSW >>>Not allowed. Rules changed since April 09

(Go for IGS to PSW. Maintain ur bank accounts from right now. Then send them more statements. So ur statements should look like 1st May - 1 Sep 09 ...800 pounds at all times..but apply through a solicitor and send updated bank statements through a solicitor as well wid his own company headed covering letter..if they refused u then u got a strong chance in appeal...Dont loose hope jst yet
