RE: Biometrics and HSMP Extension Timeline

Post by singh1827 » Mon Sep 28, 2009 8:51 pm

Hi Guys,

I have applied for my HSMP extension into Tier 1 General which was due to expire in Jan 2010. I have applied on 11 Sep 2009 and got an acknowledgement letter on 14 Sep 2009.

1)I would like to know do i need to give my BIOMETRICS?

2) If YES, will the HO send me an appointment letter for my BIOMETRICS or will i have to book an appointment myself?

3) How early can i expect to get my VISA?

Any help much appreciated

Singh

At the moment Tier 1 General visa holders do not need to register their biometrics for the ID card.

I think at the moment the processing times are averaging around 4 weeks for in-country applications. Check the threads about processing times to get a better idea.

Keep an eye on this link:
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/worki ... tingtimes/

I got my passport four days after it said that my application date was in the period being considered.
Please do not send me any Private Messages as I do not check these.
