T1(G) Ext.- Is this OISC advisor right?

Post by rice_porridge » Fri Nov 06, 2009 9:19 pm

Dear All:
I went to an OISC agency in relation to my T1(G) ext..
My earnings are from:
1) salaried employement
2) self-employment for private tuition. My students and families paid fees directly into my personal account. I didn't operate through any companies or agencies.

evidence:
1)employed - payslip and bank statements
2)self-employ-- account letter confirming the breakdown of gross and net income etx. plus correspondent bank statement and invoices.

:?: The consultant told me that I cannot do self-employment like that because the Home Office will not accknowledge self-employ income from individuals. He advised me to ask some companies who can issue me a letter saying that I am a sub-contractor from them and so on.

I am so confused because I've been working hard to earn money in order to qualify for the points. However, some other people just run a company and put their own money into their account to claim for earning powers. And the HO granted their T1 G Visas. Whilst my income are all true, but I will have to worry wheter or not the HO will grant my visa. Whatever....

Dear all team members, do you think I will have to what I have been advised? I really appreciate.

CONSULTANT has not correctly advised , u need to get registered with HMRC FOR NI purpose and appoint a qualified acctn with licence to practice

get

1 accts - PL & BS
2. SALES summary , list of customers and name address and amt recd etc.
3. Self employment income certificate

than u should be fine
