Hotel / Bed and breakfast nearby Cardiff PEO office

Hi ,

Please anyone can tell me if there are some hotel or B and B available ( not too expensive ) near the cardiff PEO office,

I need to get there on 1st of march for my in-person appointment in the morning.

I had stayed at the Thanes hotel (for my 8:30 am appointment) for 32.50.
Breakfast is included. For the price mentioned, you get a room with a wash basin. There is common bathroom. Nice and clean place. Friendly staff.

The hotel is 10 mins walk from the PEO.

Closest station is the Cardiff Queen Street which is 20 mins walk and you pass the PEO on the way.

Indeed the information provided by you in useful as i could not find any hotel less then 60 £ for that day till now. I will now enquire about thanes hotel as you mentioned.

Did you go by car there? If Yes then where did you parked your car during your appointment at cardiff PEO office?

I am planning to travel by car the day before in the evening and stay at the hotel near PEO office for the appointment - the following morning

I had taken the train to Cardiff Queen Street and then took a cab to the hotel since it was nearing midnight and my appointment was at 8.30 the next morning.

They have free onsite parking. I have not used it, so you could call them to confirm the same.

The PEO is walking distance from the hotel(max 10 mins), so maybe you could ask the hotel whether you could pick up your car after your appointment.

If you have car then there is premiere inn, travel lodge and others in 10 mins driving distance, so check for those. these are in between newport and cardiff. there are plenty of car park behind the PEO office look for Parade road and others (hard to get parking behind PEO office, unless u go there before 8:00 am). The best parting is John Lewis or St Davids car park next to cardiff cine world, 5 mins walking from this secured car park to PEO office.
