Fixed Deposit - Duplicate Stamp

I have applied for TIER-1 General in Jan 2010, got rejected due to Maintenenace funds, one of the reason was that CASH Fixed Deposits were submitted , but original FD has issue with TITLE & hence we have asked the bank to correct it & then Bank had re-issued the FD with correct title & STAMPED as DUPLICATE & kept the previous originals, that's general banking norms in India....Now i have spoken to various people & they r saying even when apply for a fresh app using this FD, they will reject the application, please can you suggest ,what can be done in this case, or if you share your expereince...It's bit urgent, i am planning to appky on 31st March under current TIER1 Rules...
