Tier 1 - Query on 12 months consecutive payslips..?

Post by shyamsai » Mon Oct 11, 2010 4:17 am

Hello,

I'm planning to submit my Tier 1 application in Nov'10. Now, I need clarification on 12 months consecutive payslips

The payslips which I submit must be continious 12 months or can I pick any 12 payslips from the last 15 months?

Because I was on loss of pay for the month of Sep'10, so its a zero payslip. Can I use from Oct'09 - Oct'10 ( excluding Sep'10)?

Does this cause any issue? please advise..

Thanks
Sai

The guidance note says that the period should be 12 month continuous in the 15 month window. Exceptions are full time study, maternity and adoption. Applicant need not be in continuous employment. But the pay for the remaining months should be enough to claim points. I think the guidance notes are very clear on this. Good luck.

Yes, maternity and adoption. But not full time study.

Oct'09 to Oct'10 are 13 consecutive months.

Choose a 12 months consecutive period and, if required, skip month(s) within that period. But if your income earned in a 12 months consecutive period (with or without skipping months within) is not enough to give enough points to qualify, then you do not qualify for Tier 1. Simple!
