Got Tier 1 Visa Today..Query about Dependents

I got my Tier 1 (General) Migrant Visa today. In the application, I had mentioned that my wife and kids would not join me later because their joining is subject to me getting a job there. Neverthless, I mentioned the details of my wife on the form and also sent the marriage certificate along.

Now when I got the visa today, the number of dependents on the Visa is 0.

Can this cause a problem later on when I file for the dependent Visas ?

You mentioned your wife's name. Did you include the details of your children as well? Names and the rest in your Tier 1 application?

I had only given details of my wife. I also came to know from some one else that we can give an application later on to ensure that things go smoothly. I am still not aware what should be the contents of that and who should it be addressed to.

Someone has this same experience.But yours is better as you have already stated the possibility of your dependants joining you later.The child of this person was initially denied visa based on the fact that they don't have details of the child on their record although the wife was granted visa.The visa was granted later when he re-applied with more details/evidences and clarification on the details that HO has.

My ADVICE:Make sure you refer to you additional comments of your tier 1 (about your children in particular)application whenever you are applying for your dependants.
Put enough details that links you with your children in you appliaction as well.It is better to have more than necessary details than less.
