Going for Citizenship whilst on Job Seekers Allowance?

Post by Moh1972 » Tue Nov 02, 2010 8:18 pm

Hi all,

I am new here and just wanted to ask a question. I have lived here in the UK for 12 years and have had my own business in the past. Unfortuntely i have had to fold it and am now in receipt of Job seekers. Can i apply for Citizenship while on Benefit? I am married to a British woman and we have 3 children.

e2a: I have ILR since 2000.

Your answers and advice are greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

You don't have to be employed to apply for Citizenship and you're entitled to claim Job Seekers allowance.
