Reliable Tier-1 Consultants in Chennai

Dear all,

I am a mechanical engineer from Chennai aspiring to get a Tier1 General Visa. From many of the posts available in the site, Iam pretty clear that we ourselves can deal directly with VFS instead getting help from a consultant for documentation.

But, I want to make sure that I don't get my visa rejected due to any silly mistakes or lack of any supporting documents. So, I decided to go with a consultant.

In the last few weeks, I approached quiet a few Tier 1 Consultants in Chennai and got really frustrated that every consultant has a different answer for many of my queries.

Iam so confused on whom to opt for.

At this point, I don't have any option other than posting my query here.

Is consultant requirement an obvious need ?
If so, who is the most reliable ?

Your suggestions will be of immense use to me.
