1) usually PSW visa is issued for 2 years.
2) you will require transcript from the university.
3) you need a letter confirming that you have sucessfuly completed your course and the degree will be awarded on ------ date and a letter from the university confirming all the other details.
4) you have to send both the passports.
5) university should issue you all the required documents to apply for PSW.

you cant apply until you have got a degree in your hand!...

you may have completed all the requirements of your degree program by March but you WILL need a formal document i.e degree, to satisfy psw requirements

Actually, Arsenal... I do not think that one needs the original degree in hand.. otherwise what's the point of the Uni issuing a letter...?

interesting......

well it appears the letter would be OK. the only thing that i am doubtful is.......

how can you pursuade your uni to say that you WILL be awarded degree before the board of examiners have met. For example, if you ask for a letter now, before board of examiners meeting, uni would only be willing to say that you will be awarded degree on xyz date subject to approval from board of examiners etc. to cover their backs.

ofcourse, this would not look good as far as ukba caseworker is concerned...

im just being a devil's advocate here. hope you see my point!

regards

Hi,

Actually, Arsenal, my Uni doesn't mention that my award will be decided by Board of Examiners but they also didn't mention the date of award....

So much so for studying at Uk's top three Uni...;-(

But you are right in a sense, my friend... If only one could get hold of a caseworker somehow...
