You would normally receive it in 14 days but can take up to 28 .Have you contacted IAT to ask reasons for delay?

Hi,we had this exact problem a few months back.We left it 4 weeks then called the IAC. They informed us that determination as sent out days after our court appearance! We never received this letter, however our solicitor did.She didnt inform us that she had recieved it as she presumed we had a copy. What i can suggest is if after 4 weeks you still havent heard anything, call you representative to ask if they have receievd a response. If not, call the IAC directly , they are very helpfull and will advise you on what has happened.Hope this helps

I am still waiting for a decision and am now into the fifth week. I have rang AIT and they say that the judge has not yet made a decision. Anyone with their story on waiting for a decision from Walsall county court who could shed some light would be appreciated

Sorry to hear they takin so long.Problem is you cant hurry the decision.Maybe they have a backlog at that court.I went to birmingham and it was done in 3 days but we never got the letter from them so we sat round waiting. After 4 weeks we called and they informed us the decision was made 2 days after the judgment :-/ SO they sent us a copy of the determination.
Sorry dnt really know what to suggest other than wait for the letter.Do keep calling them though, hopefully it will speed them up abit.

This is Ram. I had same problem. I want to share my sad exp.
My Wife and Kid Depenedent Visa Got Rejected and Applied VISA. It has been 6 months till now. I came UK On Feb 21 2010.
VISA Applied:July 11 2010
VISA Rejected:July 29 2010
Appeal Applied:Aug 9 2010
Got Appeal Acknowledgement: Sep 3 2010
Till now, NO response. we are keep on calling they are always it is ready to take decision.
VISA Rejection Reasons
Reason 1: “did not produce any evidence to show that the marriage is currently subsisting and also the applicant do not intend to live with the sponsor throughout the sponsor’s stay in the UK as per 319C(d)(e)(f) of immigration rules.”
Reason2: “not enough funds maintained (6000 GBP) during the period of three months”
I am goint to apply fresh application In Feb becoz by that time i can complete 1 yr in uk so maintance funds to be reduced(2*533+800 = 1866).

As I understand all cases regardless of tribunal judge rule in your favour or against are ON HOLD, until the Home Office appeal against financial requirement case in court decided.
