Hi,

When the passport was taken 9 yrs back the permanent address mentioned in the passport was different. Now the current permanent address is different. I would like to know if we are renewing the visa in UK, should we give the new permanent address or as it is in the old passport ? This is bcos the passport renewal form requires a permanent address. will there be any verification on the permanent address ?

Just give your current UK address, enclose a utility bill as proof! No checks will be done!

Nothing is permament, least of all an address!!

Your passport status is not single! Passport does not have a "single / married" status!! A passport only states a spouse's name (and that too only if the passport holder wants the name displayed in there).

You were single when you last applied for a passport. If you now wish to include your spouse's name in your passport (note that this is not a mandatory requirement) then you should fill the application form accordingly and include a copy of your marriage certificate.
