Indefinite Leave to Remain after 10 years in UK

Post by Shawn » Tue Oct 11, 2011 2:55 pm

Hi All,

I am about to make a SET(O) application for ILR after completing 10 years legally in the UK. I have some questions where possibly someone out there may be able to help with the answers or their wise thoughts.

1) Section 5 is the Finances - In the applications its says if your applying after completing 10 years Long Residency -you do not need to fill that section. Is that correct ? To be honest my bank statements are not great but I really want to know whether I can just skip this section as mentioned.

2) Is it a good idea to send anything which can be vital to make their decision, such as employment letter, pay slips, educational qualifications, membership of charitable organisations etc.

3) Recently I had to pay a parking fine by TFL. Since it's my fault I paid in full. Will it be a offence that I should make them aware or can I just be quiet as it is not a criminal offence at all.

Please help me to find out the answers to these questions so that my family and I can have a peaceful life in UK.

Thank you

God Bless You All

Shawn

Giving more information is unnecessary and confusing. The main documents(Passports, Biometric, payment and photoes) should make their and your life easy. They decide based on these, the rest of the documents like the bank statemens, payslips etc., dont fetch you any right for ILR (for 10 years long stay category) help in any way...infact confusing them might work against you! Good Luck!

And, i dont think parking fine has got anything to do with this!
