12 Month earning period

Hi,

I work through my limited company and every month I transfer a minimum salary from my business to personal account. My salary credit dates are as below:

1. Jan => 06-01-11

2. Feb => 03-02-11

3. Mar => 04-03-11

4. Apr => 15-04-11

5. May => 06-05-11

6. Jun => 08-06-11

7. Jul => 06-07-11

8. Aug => 04-08-11

9. Sep => 07-09-11

10.Oc t => 05-10-11

11.Nov=> 08-11-11

12.Dec=> 05-12-11

I also take dividends around 20th of every month. So my previous earnings period, is it from 06-Jan-2011 to 05-Dec-2011?

I was thinking to mention it as 01-Jan-2011 to 31-Dec-2011 in my accountant's letter to include my December month's dividend as well.

Could someone advise me on this please?
