Status of my dependants after I get my ILR

Post by maliimran » Sun Dec 25, 2011 5:42 pm

I have recently been granted ILR based on 10 year rule (23rd Dec 2011). My dependents on my Tier 2 Visa have a current leave to remain in the UK until May 2012 and they will complete their 10 years in UK in February 2012. My query is as follows:

1) Do I need to change the status of my dependents for the period until February 2012 ?
OR
Their current status is valid until May 2012 (original grant of the leave) despite the change in my status? There is no change in my current employment or any other status.
2) If my dependents’ status need to be changed, how much time I have to apply for switching their dependent status?

Is there any email or address to contact UKBA for advice on this?
