Looking for job as a translator in the North East of England

I can speak and write English, French and Italian fluently. I am moving to Newcadtle-upon-Tyne with my British husband on a settlement visa, which has now been issued.
I have worked as a hair stylist most of my career (so can work in that area too if needed), but I amlooking to use my language skills if possible.
I will be available from May 23rd 2012 onwards.
I have heard there are opportunities in the NHS, Universities and other establisments who may need people who are multilingual.
My husband is in the IT profession and will also be looking for employment.
