The professional referee, if a Gas Engineer, must be registered with the relevant Regulatory Authority and is qualified to be registered.

If UKVI is not satisfied with a referee you have used, they will likely contact you for another one.

I am not sure why you are being so paranoid about almost everything AFTER sending your application!!
