Hi,
I need big help as I have a lot of issues and the UKBA really confuses me.
I was granted a spouse visa September of 2011 along with my children (My British husband´s Step-children).
We had been living in UK for year and a half but due to a surgery´s complication and poor health service I had to come back to my country (Mexico) for some months. I had planned to stay here for 3 months but my father´s health has been poor and we have just discovered he needs a pacemaker. As an only child I feel the need to stay longer and make sure my dad is fine after the operation and help my mum around while she goes to work. I feel extremely pressured as I will be away longer than the 3 months. So my questions are:
1. Are mine and my dad´s health issues taken as compelling reasons when it comes to visas? I would obviously show proof.
2. My Spouse visa runs out in September, is there any way I can apply for ILR in my country due to me having to take care of dad?
3. I don´t have any utility bills to my name but loads of letters from doctors, hospital schools, charities I support, NIN documents, etc. with the same address as my husband but not both names. No joint accounts either. Will that be good enough?
4. If I already took an English test for my spouse visa, do I need to take a new one for the ILR?
5. Are there any other options I have? I don´t want to lose my visa.
Thanks in advance.
