HI,

I am on tier-2 and need to go for tier-2 extension.

DO I need to pay the health surcharge for me and my dependant ?

are there any benefits for that or ... do we need to pay ni tax too after paying that.

Looked back at your previous posts and see you are on Tier 2 General.

In that case, yes you have to pay the surcharge for yourself and your dependents.

https://www.gov.uk/healthcare-immigrati ... cation/pay

It is £200 per year per person and payable upfront for the duration of the visa extension. Example, if extension is 3 years then it will be £200 x 3 = £600 per person applying.

There is no extra benefits as such and yes, you still have to pay tax and NI.
