Hi

Do I have to upload Appendix II form when I am applying for Tier 2 General Visa? I have seen an upload option in VFS website. but not sure if this relevant to me. my employer is sponsoring me and my family for the maintenance so I do not need to produce any finance details.

can anyone advise me on this

There is no appendix 2 for a tier 2 general visa. Where exactly did you see this requirement?

Hopefully you have not completed the wrong form for your dependents which would require appendix 2!!

actually it was for the main applicant, document checklist does not require this, it was there only on VFS upload page.

Appendix 2 is ONLY required for a spouse settlement visa under Appendix FM immigration rules and the PBS route.

As long as you did not select 'Settlement' anywhere and you definitely completed the Tier 2 application form, ignore the upload option.
