Application Approved but no Invitation Letter

Good evening all,


I have applied for citizenship in January last year and got an email confirming that my application was approved in July 2020. The letter in the email states that I should get an invitation letter so that I can book a ceremony. However, until this point in time I still have not received an invitation letter, is this normal? has anyone been through similar experience? what is inside the invitation letter?

You should have chased HO earlier regarding the ceremony invitation letter.

Your application was approved in July 2020 and you should have received a ceremony invitation letter by now in normal circumstances.

You need that ceremony invitation letter to book a ceremony with your local council. You must complete the procedure and attend the ceremony to become a British Citizen.
