Applying for spouse visa while waiting for visitor visa

Hello,

I am due to apply for my second Spouse Visa in July 2023.

My wife and I are planning to go to Canada in June so I am currently waiting on my Visitor Visa to Canada to be issued. But it looks like it might not be issued in time, so I was wondering whether it's okay to have a pending tourist (visitor) visa application to another country while I submit my Spouse Visa application in the UK.

They are separate things completely. No issue.

Unless they both require the passport at the same time?
