Appointment booking

Hi All,

My friend booked an appointment for Tier 2 and reschedule it. But two strange things happened:
1-The reference number as I know changed when you reschedule it and applicant receives emails that the previous appointment was cancelled. But in my friend case, the ref number remained the same and he did not receive any email about cancellation of previous appointment.
2-After appointment booking, applicant receives two email with the subjects of "Appointment Notification" and "Appointment Booked" but my friend received only the first one.

The correct appointment shown in his login page.

Then, is there any problem?

My friend received only one email

"Appointment confirmed

Booking Ref: 4-2-947273
Public Enquiry Office - Croydon
09/08/2012 10:15 Please arrive 30mins early
Tel 08706067766"

He can see the appointment in his online UKBA account. He called the UKBA and they confirm the appointment. Then, everything is fine as I saw people always receiving two emails?
