Are sponsor notes not visible on CoS?

Hi all,

I would be grateful for your help as I am in a bit of a situation. Here is my case:

• I am based in the UK (Currently on Tier 4 DES). My employer issued me the CoS for Tier 2 recently in which I noticed a few mistakes. I immediately informed the HR about those mistakes.

• According to HR, he/she added the sponsor notes to address those mistakes.

• To confirm the same, I called the HR and I was told that sponsor notes are neither visible on CoS nor on employer’s Sponsorship Management System. As per HR, he/she also called at Tier 2 sponsor helpline number and was told that even they (helpline person) can’t see the sponsor notes. Helpline person suggested that HR should have taken a screenshot of the sponsor notes. I found this explanation as strange and confusing.

• Now, HR is encouraging me to apply for my Tier 2 (G) visa and “hope it will go fine”.

I am struggling to see sense in HR’s explanation. I am not willing to apply for my Tier 2 visa under this kind of uncertainty with the risk of rejection (Please note I am paying for my and dependent visa fee).

My question is: If sponsor notes are added, are they not visible on CoS? What can be done to achieve surety in this case?

No they are not visible on the cos if the cos. Sponsor notes is an electronic note system for ukvi to see.

In my COS, there is a sponsor note field with some information that changed after the COS was assigned.

Just to make sure if this is a new addition to Tier 2 as one of the reply mentions that sponsor notes are not visible on CoS. No problem, thanks for help again.

Cos Issues in 3rd week of july. 2019 after july allocations.
Applied for visa 1st week of Aug. 2019
Received Visa 3rd week of Aug. 2019
