Bank statements date requirements

Post by isca » Mon Mar 13, 2023 6:56 pm

My first post )

Currently planning to get married to my long term girlfriend from Belarus so I am preparing for whats to come regarding the future application for a marriage visa.

My first question is about the bank statements needed. When we make the application I am going to use the cash saving route to satisfy the financial requirements - I believe this is category D?

I do not use online banking and therefore have proper bank issued statements. Can I show, when i make the application, the last six months of statements to show the sum held as needed or do i need the bank to send me something up to date - what confuses me is;
Any bank statements provided must be dated no earlier than 28 days before the date of application. ?? Is this for the whole six months or a date for the last statement?

6 months recent bank statements. The latest months bank statement cannot be older than 28 days in the date of application.
