British Citizenship application for child

Hi there,

I got my ILR in Sep-2025 and my child is born in Dec-2025. Can I directly apply for British passport for my child ?

If the child was born in the uk, then yes, apply for passport directly.

Keep all evidence related to your ILR grant in September as that will be the evidence your child will need to prove they were British at birth.
