British citizenship application

Post by catsvg89CVG » Thu Dec 05, 2024 10:27 am

Hi everyone, sorry to post here a question but it is related to timelines.

My question is the following:

I paid for my Application yesterday (04/12/24) (Making sure I was in the country 5 years ago)
I got my biometrics appointment on the 12th of December (I wasn't on the country for that day 5 years ago)
Does this affect the application process? Should I move my appointment to be for a day when I was back from this trip I did in december?
This is what it states on the instructions but it is quite vague when the application might be received.

"If you are applying under section 6(1), you must have been in the UK exactly 5 years
before your application was received. For example, if your application is received on
05/01/2022 you should have been physically present in the UK on 06/01/2017."

Thank you

Catalina

1. Do NOT tag your question onto topics irrelevant to your application.

2. The date of application is the date you submit and pay onlinr and NOT the biometrics appointment.
